Shawn Olsen
PRICE-Shawn Lee Olsen, age 36, passed away May 22, 2007 in Price.
He was born Aug. 12, 1970 in Price, Utah to Rolland Eugene “Sonny” Olsen and Alice Henman.
Married his soul mate, Jana Dees, March 7, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1988. Shawn’s greatest joy in life was his children and he cherished every moment that he shared with them. He was kind, loving and he always displayed a genuine concern and love for others.
He loved riding his four-wheeler, camping, hunting and spending time in the outdoors with his family and friends. Shawn was a friend to all, his smile and warm embrace will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Jana Olsen; five children, Sammy Olsen, Shawnee Olsen, Brayden Olsen, Mallory Olsen, Carlee Olsen; mother, Alice Olsen; brothers, Joe Olsen, Don Olsen; all of Price; and a sister-in-law, Lisa Olsen, Wellington.
Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Olsen; and brother, Rick Olsen.
Funeral service was held, Sat., May 26, 2007, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family was at Mitchell’s Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
