The Flockers of Carbon and Emery counties held their second annual Women in the Outdoors event on July 20-21 at the Little Bear Campground.
The women had many workshops to choose from including; antler art, archery, Dutch oven and campfire cooking, stream fishing, gun safety, gardening, Henna tatoos, magnetic message boards, outdoor photography, scrapbooking, self defense, trap shooting, vinyl signs and wilderness first aid/survival. The women were also treated to a Dutch oven breakfast, lunch, a Navajo dinner and an astronomy show by Mark Bunnell from CEU.
The event was organized by Brandi Ivie, Michelle Jensen, Suzy Iorg and Dondra Nance.
