Along with the celebration of heroes a motocross event is coming to Huntington. It will be at the Huntington rodeo arena at approximately 5 p.m.
X games gold medalist, Ronnie Renner will be in town. He is a gravity big air champion with jumps straight up 35.5 feet and he is a Red Bull fighter champion.
The pros will be at the Ironhorse Raceway in Huntington beginning at 10 a.m. there is a fee to watch which will go to the miners families. Local riders can ride with the pros and even get some pointers.
Other riders at the motocross event Saturday evening will be Adam Jones, X games gold medalist; Mike Mason winner of the last Dew tour; Andy Bell, freestyle motocross rider; Sean Nielson, rider from Gunnison.
