Along with the chili-soup cook-off, many activities are planned. Activities begin at 4 p.m. with Christmas ornaments for the children at city hall, chili/soup dinner from 5-7 p.m. at the new fire station, turning on the lights in the park at 6 p.m. a special visitor in the park at 6:30 p.m., and a bon fire with hot chocolate and doughnuts.
