Emery High Junior Prom
Emery High will be holding its Junior Prom on March 7 in the Spartan Center at 7 p.m. There will be a $1 charge per person who attends this event. All money will be donated to Ryan Thompson who is a student at Emery High and needs a life saving liver transplant.
BLM Hosts Public Meetings
The Bureau of Land Management’s Price Field Office will host public meetings to discuss its Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the West Tavaputs Plateau Natural Gas Full Field Development Proposal. BLM welcomes public comments on the draft statement, which evaluates a proposal to develop natural gas resources on the West Tavaputs Plateau, predominantly located in northeastern Carbon County. m A meeting will be held in Price from 5-8 p.m. on March 12 at the Holiday Inn, 838 Westwood Blvd.
Horse trainers needed for Wyoming Mustang Challenge

Emery County 4-H Family Photos
Emery County 4-H family photos will be taken March 28-30 in court room B in the courthouse located at 75 East Main Street in Castle Dale. This is a great 4-H fund raiser so support the 4-H. River Rats Academy for Teens

Festive Fridays
Festive Fridays, sponsored by Utah State University Extension are returning for the spring season. March 14-Hop On In, Easter ideas; April 18-Lotions and Potions; and May 2-Family Reunions and Picnics. All classes begin at noon upstairs in the courthouse on Main Street in Castle Dale. RSVP to the extension office at 381-2381. Each class will cost $2 for lunch and handouts. Some classes may have an added fee. Lots of ideas for spring and summer fun.

The Huntington Lions Club is having a Relay for Life yard sale April 26.
