The Fourth Annual Snowkite Masters was held up Huntington Canyon this past weekend. It is known as one of the premier locations for snowkiting and this weekend did not disappoint the hundreds of people who participated from around the world. It was a weekend of freeriding, freestyle exhibitions and racing.
Riders of the snowkite can reach speeds of 50 mph and higher. Huntington Canyon is known as one of the best places in the world for this exhilarating sport. The lifting power of the wind allows the kiters to jump to distances of up to 100 feet.
