Baseball Tournament
Anyone interested in participating in a baseball tournament to be held on May 2 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Ball Complex call Cheryl at 687-2403. There will be mens and womens divisions. Registration fee is $130 and all proceeds will be donated to the EHS Girls Softball team.

Grand Junction Super Cross 2008
The Grand Junction Super Cross 2008 will be held April 26 at the Mesa County Fairgrounds in Grand Junction, Colo. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing from 6-10 p.m.
Womens and Mens Slow Pitch Softball
Emery County Recreation is registering teams for womens slow pitch softball and mens slow pitch softball. The mens league will be a metal bat league. All forms must be returned to the Recreation office no later than May 16. Full registration fee must accompany the form. Nominate Utah’s 2008 Outstanding Older Worker
Nominations will be accepted for Utah’s outstanding older worker for 2008 until June 1. An online nomination form or a printed nomination form can be accessed at www.experienceworks.org. Nominees or applicants must be 65 years of age or older, a resident of Utah, currently employed, and working at least 20 hours each week for pay. The search for America’s oldest worker for 2008 is also under way, as is the search for outstanding employers of older workers. Castle Dale Elementary PTA and Castle Dale Youth City Council Book Drive
Bring your “gently” used books to Castle Dale Elementary from now through April 30, and they will be donated to a local charity. Deposit them in the box located in the front hallway, or you can exchange your “gently” used books from 3-5 p.m. on April 30 at the school during the Read-a-Thon. You can exchange one book for one book, two books for two books, etc.

Power Wheelchairs Available
The Senior Wheels USA Program makes available power wheelchairs to senior citizens and the permanently disabled at no cost to the recipient, if they qualify. The power wheelchairs are provided to those who can no longer walk safely, nor self propel a manual wheelchair and who meet the additional guidelines of the program. Usu Regional Campuses And Distance Education Commencements Scheduled
Utah State University Regional Campuses and Distance Education spring commencement exercises have been scheduled at regional campuses and education centers throughout Utah. Commencement for the Price Education Center will be held April 23 at 6 p.m. in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on the College of Eastern Utah campus, 510 North 300 East, Price. The keynote speaker will be Steve Burge, Carbon County commissioner.
Festive Friday
Festive Friday, sponsored by Utah State University Extension will be held May 9-Family Reunions and Picnics. Note, the May date is a change from May 2. This class begins at noon upstairs in the courthouse on Main Street in Castle Dale. RSVP to the extension office at 381-2381. This class will cost $2 for lunch and handouts. Huntington Lions Yard Sale
The Huntington Lions yard sale is the April 26 at the Huntington City Park from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The old City Hall will be open Friday night if you want to bring things for the yard sale. The Hall will be open from 5-7 p.m. Remember when you’re cleaning, think of the Relay for Life and the love ones that have had cancer and the ones we lost. See you at the yard sale.
3-D Archery Shoot
