Creative Floral is now open on Castle Dale Main Street. It’s housed in the building that was formerly known as Paper Works at 66 East Main Street.
Sara Allred and Christy Gasser operate the floral shop and offer a wide range of services. Their specialty is fresh flowers for proms, weddings with a full line of wedding supplies, funerals, birthdays, get well arrangements, anniversaries, and special occasions. They also provide balloon bouquets for all occasions. Silk and dried flower arrangements are available also. They offer home decor items, gifts, and candles.
Sara said business had been very good since their grand opening the week of April 14. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. For phone orders and more information, call 381-5744 and they offer delivery service.

Festive Friday has been a once a month occurrence this spring. It was introduced during the fall holiday season to present fun and creative ideas for decorating, gift giving and entertaining.
Chris Jensen and Barbra Jones decided to host Festive Friday in the spring season to give everyone ideas for Easter, Mother’s Day, family reunions and picnics. Festive Friday is sponsored by USU Extension Service.
At each Festive Friday, there are ideas, gifts to win, recipes with lunch served, and door prizes. Following the hour long class, an extended class is offered throughout the afternoon. April’s class was lotions and potions in which everyone learned to make their own lotions, lip gloss and soaps.
The final Festive Friday for Spring will be May 9 at noon on the second floor in the courthouse and will present ideas for renunions and picnics.Watch for Festive Friday to begin again before Halloween.
