In its regularly scheduled meeting held on July 8, the membership of the Emery County Republican Central Committee voted unanimously to support Drew Sitterud as a candidate in his bid to seek reelection to the seat of Emery County Commissioner. The party feels everyone is considered innocent until proven guilty and based on this assumption they will support Commissioner Sitterud in his bid for reelection. Bill Dew candidate for the Congress seat currently held by Rep. Jim Matheson spoke to the party members.
