PRICE-Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and beloved friend, Hellen Keller Riley, age 77, returned home July 17, 2008, in time to be with her beloved husband for their 60th wedding anniversary.
She was born June 11, 1931 in Farmington, Utah to Malachi Lovy and Lilly Larson Keller.
Married Rulon Cal Riley on July 23, 1948 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he passed away Feb. 7, 1996.
Hellen was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as Relief Society President, Sunday School teacher, and served in many other callings. Her love for music and dance, allowed her to perform in numerous musicals. Not only was she an accomplished dancer, but she taught dance for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family. Survived by two daughters and one son, Suzanne (Ron) Totterddale, Alva, Fla.; James (Heidi) Riley, Draper, Utah; Patricia (Roger) Kerr, Price; sisters, Cleone (Elwood) Johnston, Clinton, Utah, MaryAnn (Ski) Tuchoski, Mesquite, Nev.; brother, Kenneth Keller, Farmington, Utah; sister-in-law, Reta Lee (Wayne) Perry, Farmington, Utah; nine grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and one brother.
Funeral service, Wednesday, July 23, 2008, 11 a.m., Price Eleventh LDS Ward, 300 West 500 South. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main Street in Price Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
