John E. “Wolfie” Wolfe, 52, of Wintersville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord and his own son on Thursday July 17, 2008 at Trinity West. He was born Aug. 2, 1955 in Steubenville, Ohio.
John was a member of Steubenville Moose and the United Mine Workers Association. He found happiness in riding motorcycles, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a coal miner for most of his life and befriended many throughout the country. John will be dearly missed by all.
John was preceded in death by his father James A. Wolfe and son John E. Wolfe. Surviving are his daughter Brandy Wolfe of Bonita Springs, Fla.; granddaughter Maya Joy Asapi of Bonita Springs, Fla.; mother Barbara J. Virtue Wolfe of Wintersville, Ohio; two sisters A. Chrissy Wolfe of Merritt Island, Fla. and Julia (Frank) Wolfe-Maddera of Las Vegas, Nev.; nieces Jodi Strachan King of Las Vegas, Nev. and Juliet Wolfe of Steubenville, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
