Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Price.
Mr. Gaskin was born April 2, 1934 in Stanton, Texas. He served active duty for the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and spent most of his tour of duty in Korea.
After his honorable discharge, he met and married Claire Gaskin. They lived in Imperial Valley, Calif. and later moved to Elmo, Utah where Bob worked for many years at Plateau Mining.
The two of them lived in Elmo until Claire’s passing five and a half years ago. For the past five years, he has resided with his son and daughter-in-law in Texas.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Bo and Sandra Gaskin and Jim and Becky Gaskin; daughter and son-in law, Danna and Jose Romo; grandchildren, Tony and Aaron Romo, and Clay and Dustin Stevenson; great-grandchildren, Tyler Stevenson, Ella Stevenson, and Consuelo Rose Romo; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
