Phyllis Poloni will celebrate her 80th birthday on Oct. 13. She is a lifelong resident of Emery and Carbon counties and is retired from J.C. Penney Company. She married Arthur Poloni on May 3, 1948.
She is the mother of two daughters, LeAnn (Ralph) Whitesides and Ilene (Darrell) Cunningham. She has eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She will spend the day celebrating with her family.
