Hi, my name is Steve Kemple and I am your write-in candidate for Emery County Commissioner. I ask for your support on Nov. 4. My wife Ruth and I moved to Emery County in 1982 to start and raise our family. I believed then and believe now that there is not a better place in the world to live and raise a family.
With declining revenue and sky rocketing prices, with special interest groups wanting to restrict the use and even close some of our public lands, with limited water availability and slow economic development, our county is facing a great number of challenges. Our county government cannot afford to be distracted by the troublesome legal issues that have been in recent headline news. We need all of our elected officials focused on the best interest of the county, and working towards a bright and prosperous future for our children and grandchildren.
If elected, I will bring to the table my conservative values and 23 years of experience in county government. I will work for you, and help move the county forward, so that we can always say, “Emery County is a great place to live, work, and play.”
