It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife and mother on Nov. 9, 2008 in Ferron, Utah.
Mildred Cazier was born to Milo D. and Zella Park Cazier in Nephi, Utah on Aug. 22, 1922. She married Arthur (Whimp) Ewell. They divorced and she was married to her sweetheart Donald W. Ferguson for 55 years.
They raised four children, Evelyn, Joan, Lane and Rodney and loved many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She worked many years in Provo as a seamstress and later in Ogden at a convenience store. She kept an immaculate home, was an excellent wife, mother, cook and gardener. She loved the outdoors and animals.
Her legacy is one of hard work and honesty. If we follow her, we cannot fail.
She leaves behind her husband, Don, Ferron, Utah; daughters, Evelyn Nielson, Pleasant Grove, Utah, Joan (Donald) Ellison, Orem, Utah; son Rodney C. (Marjory) Ewell, Kearns, Utah; brothers Milo Maurice Cazier, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Clyde (Marie) Cazier, Thayne, Wyo.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dog, Buddy.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Lane Ewell; sister Norma (Art) Hartvigsen; and granddaughter Cindy Ellison.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. Rest in peace-we love you.
We extend a sincere thank you to the hospice caregivers in Emery County. Special thanks to JoAnn Jensen and Heidi Tuttle for their kindness and gentle care.
