The Ferron City Council along with the Ferron Youth council participated in the annual Christmas party for Ferron City. The event was held at the Ferron Elementary. Councilman Trent Jackson was in charge of the party along with Andria West of the youth city council.
A short program consisted of singing Christmas carols led by Pastor Tim Lacock. The cookie baking contest winners were announced. The crowd sang more songs and Santa arrived at the festivities. The judges for the cookie baking contest included Tim Lacock, Joanne Behling, Ronny Bloomer and Emily Nielson. The audience was divided into 12 sections that participated by standing when the line in the song reached their assigned section as the sang the 12 days of Christmas. The party goers also were treated to glazed rolls, doughnuts and apple cider.
