HELPER/RENTON, WASH.-Stanley Gerald Crocco passed away peacefully in Renton, Wash. on Dec. 8, 2008. He will be dearly missed.
Stanley was born to Stanley Crocco Sr. and Clara Spadafora on June 9, 1940 in Kenilworth, Utah. He was raised in Helper, Utah where many knew him to be both a talented athlete and an Eagle Scout serving his community.
Stanley later graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in electrical engineering, which lead to a 25 year career with Hughes Aircraft.
Stanley G. Crocco was married to Barbara R. De Luca; on Oct. 12, 1975 in Riverside, Conn.
Stanley had many passions in life. Through his career, his love of travel took him to places as England, Italy, Germany, Greece, Turkey and Japan. Stanley was an avid reader of US history.
In his later years, he studied philosophy and religion at Seattle University. He was actively involved in his community through Knights of Columbus. Stanley’s greatest passion was his family in being a devout father and wonderful husband.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Barbara; his two sons, Lawrence and Mitchell and his sister, Rose Marie Star.
Preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Louis.
Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church. Family will receive friends at the church in Helper at 9:30 a.m. Committal service Price City Cemetery.
