PRICE, UTAH-Rose Nadine Sleath Ashley passed away on Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 in Price, Utah. She was born Oct. 12, 1935 to Percy and Mary Modes Sleath. She married Robert Lee Ashley Jr. in Sunnyside, Utah on Oct. 26, 1961 he passed away Aug. 7, 2007.
Rose was a resident of East Carbon since 1945. She worked in the offices of Columbia Mine and later Kaiser Steel. Rose had many friends and was loved by everyone she met. She loved to crochet, knit, garden, and do crafts. She was a wonderful cook; loved to bake. She loved being a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family and friends meant the world to her.
Survived by a son, Timothy (Trisha) Hopkins of Colorado Springs, Colo., a daughter, Melody Kim Patrick of Sunnyside, Utah, three brothers; Richard Sleath, Alfred Sleath, and John Sleath, three sisters; Sharon (Greg) Hall, Jane Henley, and Debra (George) Davidovich; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister Charlotte.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South, Price, Utah).
