HELPER-Our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Wendy Lou Rhodes (Dimick), age 39, passed away peacefully Jan. 11, 2009 at her home in Helper.
She was born April 1, 1969 in Bountiful, Utah to Rick and Mary Maw Rhodes. Married David W. Dimick Nov. 27, 1989 in Helper, later divorced. Married Kim Miller in August of 1988 in Ogden, Utah, later divorced.
Wendy was a member of the Catholic Church and longtime resident of Carbon County. She enjoyed fishing, camping, music, painting, and drawing. Most of all was the love she had for her children, grandchildren and her family.
Survived by her children, Richard Noyes, Cleveland; Brandi Miller, Helper; David Scott “Detter” Dimick, Helper; Mariah Dimick, Helper; three grandchildren, Bladen, Kaylynn Noyes, Meketa Miller; father and stepmother, Rick (Missy) Rhodes, Salt Lake City; two sisters and one brother, Kristeen Lillard, Price; Amy Savage, Salt Lake City; Randy Rhodes, Wyoming; eight nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Maw; grandmother, Cleone Maw; brother, Jimmy Maw; and sister, Linda Foley.
Memorial service, Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, 2 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Monday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to her children for medical expenses.
