The BookCliff Muzzleloaders Club is one of the oldest continuously shooting blackpowder clubs in the state of Utah.
Participants gathered from across the state to participate in the annual meat shoot where the best target scores won a turkey and steaks.
Lunch was prepared by the Huntington ladies who are also shooters.
The club will have a club shoot on Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. at the Bookcliff range. Anyone with a blackpowder gun is welcome to come and participate.
Ken Gunter is the new president of the club with Wayne Fillmore as the range master. The club meets twice monthly with a Spring Shoot planned for May 2.
