Letter to the editor: Duped about Japanese internment

By JUNE THRESHER Director Americans for Historical Accuracy Hailey Idaho

Editor,
The relocation of Japanese from our west coast during WWII was not a dark day in history. They were not ‘interned’ either by the way. Many, many spies and those that would do harm to our country were relocated and the enemy alien act law that still stands today was enforced. There were Bansai rallies by those loyal to the Emperor every time the Japanese had a Pacific island victory. Get your history and your English straight please. You confuse your readers with falsities and revised history.
American tax payers have been duped and ripped off by these re-writers of history long enough. In these difficult economic times, the revisionists are demanding $38 million dollars of your hard earned tax money to resurrect the 10 relocation centers.
