PRICE-Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Ray Kremers, age 79, passed away April 2, 2009 at home while surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer.
He was born July 3, 1929 in Paris, Ark. to Antone and Margaret Rotert Kremers.
Married Barbara Sheffield June 30, 1950 in Hiawatha, Utah and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 30, 1967.
Ray worked as a diesel mechanic at Hatcho in Woods Cross, Utah, and later worked for Plateau where he retired in 1992. After his retirement, Ray spent as much time as he could fishing with his special buddy, Jacob.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Bonnie (Ralph) Sharp, Herriman,Vickie (Roger) Thomas, Ferron, Bruce (Peggy) Kremers, Huntington, Donna White, Price; daughters, Brandie (Shawn) Martinez; Amber (Trenton) Christiansen, both of Price; brother, Henry (Bertha) Kremers, Kansas City; sister, Delilah (Ken) Hughes, Holden, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Renee (Chad) Cram, Kanab, Shirleen Jankowski, San Leandro, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerald Kremers.
Funeral service was held Saturday, April 4, 2009, 2 p.m. Price 11th LDS Ward, 300 West 500 South. Family was at the church Saturday from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to service. Interment Price City Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily.
