During the first week of March, special needs children from Emery County were treated to an hour of swimming in the new Emery County Aquatic Center.
Emery County Recreation sponsored the event.
Each of the children was given a pair of goggles. At the end of the week, following their last swim, the recreation district and aquatic center hosted a pizza party for them in the party room at the pool.
At the party, they each received coupons for three more swims during the summer along with a new swim noodle.
