Miles and Christine Nelson announce the marriage of their daughter, Candra Christine Nelson to Jacob Ammon Powell, son of Corey and Myrna Powell.
The couple will be married May 15 in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple.
The newlyweds will be honored at a reception that evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Price Fifth LDS Ward, 545 East 400 North.
Candra is a 2006 graduate from Carbon High, and graduated from the College of Eastern Utah with an Associate Degree Nursing Program this month. Jacob graduated from Emery High in 2002. He served in the Antanaravio Madagascar Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The couple will make their home in Logan where Jacob has been attending Utah State University and Candra will continue her education with Weber State University.
