PRICE/BULLFROG-Our loving companion, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Lucille Blackburn Richardson, age 82 passed away peacefully May 14, 2009 at her home in Price while surrounded by her loving family.
Born Nov. 10, 1926 in Clawson, Utah to Marion Oscar and Edith Elenor Jorgensen Blackburn.
Married Clifford Lee Richardson June 8, 1944 in Price; he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2002.
Lucille was a very active woman and always willing to help others right up to the end. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors, spending time on the desert and the mountains, boating, skiing, and hunting for artifacts. She liked to crochet and made many beautiful pieces. She loved spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her companion and care giver, Kent Hintze, Bullfrog; children, Robert (Susan) Richardson, Price; Phyllis (Terry) Smith, Moore, Idaho; April (Michael) Riley, Ferron; sister, Elva Foley, Farmington, N. M.; brother, Arland (Cleta) Blackburn, Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, LaVee (Charles) Gilson, Arleta, Calif.; brother, Doug (Paula) Blackburn, East Carbon; sister, JoAnn Williams, San Jose, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; parents; son, Marvin Blackburn; grandson, Marshall Paul Frickey; sister, Doris Blackburn.
Memorial service, Friday, May 22, 2009, 4 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily.
Interment, Price City Cemetery, Price.
