PRICE-Jennie Douglas Leonard, age 95, passed away July 9, 2009 at Parkdale Care Center in Price.
She was born April 2, 1914 in Hiawatha, Utah to James and Jane Ram Douglas.
Married Vernal “Bill” Leonard, June 26, 1939 in Price, Utah; he died June 12, 1980.
Jennie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a lifelong resident of Carbon County.
Survived by her daughter, Yvonne (Jim); five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jerry; three brothers, two sisters, and just recently by her great-grandson Logan Emerson.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at Parkdale Care Center.
Graveside service, Saturday, July 11, 2009, 1:30 p.m., Price City Cemetery. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main Street in Price Saturday from noon – 1:15 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
