FERRON-Terrie J. Nordell, age 53 passed away unexpectedly June 28, 2009. She was born in Salt Lake City on Feb. 29, 1956 to Carol Bridge and Edward Blaine Jones.
Terrie married Rex Smith. They had one daughter, Kayt. They later divorced.
After a long courtship, Terrie married Randy Joe Nordell on Dec. 12, 1992 in Elko, Nev.
Terrie always said, “Things always have a way of working out the way they are supposed to.” She worked for West Valley Ordinance Enforcement for more than 10 years, she enjoyed her job and the people she worked with.
Terrie is survived by her daughter, Kayt Smith, Ferron; sons, Eric Nordell, Salt Lake City; Jason ( Debbie) Nordell, Ferron; sister, Vikkie (Charles) Carlson, Gilbert, Ariz.; brothers, Derrick (Nan) Jones, Salt Lake City; Darrin Jones, Ferron; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy J. Nordell; brother, Steven Blaine Jones; father, Edward Blaine Jones.

A celebration of Terrie’s life was held at the Emery County Senior Citizens Center in Ferron on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 10 a.m.-12 noon.
