PRICE – Raymundo “Ray” L. Sandoval, age 82, passed away peacefully Sept. 4, 2009 in Price. He was born March 9, 1927 in Del Norte, Colo. to Carlos C. and Anita Santistevan Sandoval. Married Andrea Nava April 21, 1946 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Sunnyside.
Ray worked for Kaiser Steel for 44 years and was a proud member of the U. M. W. A. Local #9958. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. His greatest love was his grandchildren and his pets “Buffy” and “Little Girl”. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his loving wife Adrea, Price; children, Louie, Charlotte, Edward, and Annette Sandoval, all of Price; brothers and sisters, Alfonso Sandoval; Lucy Walker; Arthur (Ann) Sandoval; Ester Franco; Virgil (Delores) Sandoval; Grace Duenas; Fillie Sandoval; Marcy (Dick) Hickman; eight grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Keith John Sandoval.
Memorial Mass was held Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Family was at the church at 9:30 a.m. Committal Service will be at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price.
