Students throughout the county will participate in the National Walk to School Day on Wednesday.
The students from Huntington Elementary are being encouraged to walk or ride their bikes to school. The bus students are also being encouraged to walk. They will be dropped off at two locations. Some students will start from Jack’s Motors at 389 North Main and others will be dropped off at the church at 115 South and 400 East. From these locations teachers will accompany students to the school. Students will be offered a free breakfast when they arrive at school consisting of fruit, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and tampico.
Castle Dale students will meet at the city hall and principal Ralph Worthen will accompany them on their walk to school.
Cleveland Elementary students will meet at the cemetery for their walk to school and Cottonwood Elementary students are being encouraged to walk to school as well.
