PRICE-Our loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend, Steven James, Curtis Hughes, age 28, passed away Jan. 7, 2010 at his home in Price.
He was born June 5, 1981 in Ely, Nev. to Steven Eugene and Anne Orrillo Hughes.
Married Cherelle Calhoun Aug. 27, 2005 in Rock Springs, Wyo.
Steven loved being outdoors doing whatever he could with nature. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a hard worker and prided himself with his work. Steven was a proud father and husband. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his loving wife, Cherelle, Price; children, Trinity Marie; Destiny Rose; both of Price; Kaylee Ann Hughes, New Mexico; father, Steven (Cathy) Hughes, Rock Springs, Wyo.; mother, Anne (Tom) Swingle, Rock Springs, Wyo.; siblings, Breezy (Michael) Pruitt; Phillip (Alta) Hughes, both of Roy; Laura Bradfute, Fernley, Nev.; Amanda Swingle Rock Springs, Wyo.; father-in-law, Milton Calhoun, Casper, Wyo.; grandmother, Nana Jones, Roy; grandparents, Ken (Laurie) Johnson, Sun Valley, Nev.; brother-in-law, Quentin Calhoun, Price; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by grandfather, Macario Orrillo; grandmother, Joan Strouse; and numerous other family members.
Memorial service, Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, 2 p.m. Price Chapel, 611 Price River Drive. In lieu of flowers family suggest contributions to Price Chapel in memory of Steven Hughes to help with expenses.
