EAST CARBON-Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, Pauline Roseman Durrant, age 81, passed away peacefully March 9, 2010 at the Heirloom Inn in Price.
She was born July 4, 1928 in Canon City, Colo. to Frank and Emolene Richards Roseman.
Married Thomas “Ted” Durrant, Dec. 21, 1946 in Price; he preceded her in death on April 3, 1998.
Pauline loved spending time sitting at her kitchen table visiting with friends and family. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, reading, and everyone marveled at her extensive collection of dolls and angels. For years she managed Cook’s Velvet Freeze in East Carbon where she was blessed with many longtime friends and neighbors. Pauline will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Shauna and the wonderful staff at the Heirloom Inn for all the loving and attentive care that was given to mom.
She is survived by her sons, Donald (Pamela) Durrant, Price, Rick Durrant, Eagle Mountain; daughters, Debra (Dennis) Lake, Sunnyside, Stacy (Larry) Leyba, East Carbon; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Nancy) Parry, Salt Lake City; sisters, Earlene Cox, St. George, Myrlene Hider, Walnut Creek, Calif.
Preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Isaiah Parry; husband, Ted Durrant; sons, Kenneth and Dennis Durrant; sister, Rosanna Sanderson; and brother, Frank Roseman.
Funeral service was held Saturday, March 13, 2010, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family was at Mitchell’s Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to share memories and sign the guestbook at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
