Hazel Faccenetti (Gramma Netti)

HELPER – Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Hazel Rapozo Faccenetti, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2010 while surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 28, 1925 in Honomu, Hawaii to John and Rosalina Da Motta Rapozo.
Married Lao Lipparelli and together they had two children, a daughter Barbara and son Don. They later divorced. In 1948, Hazel married Carlo Faccenetti and they had a daughter Carla and son Rick. Carlo preceded her in death in 1981.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Helper. “Gramma Netti” enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting and visiting with her friends and neighbors. The many gatherings for birthdays and special dinners at her daughter Barbara’s home were very precious to her and her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Hazel is survived by her four children, Barbara Lipparelli (Dewey) Gale, Helper, Don (Donna) Lipparelli, Grants Pass, Ore., Carla Faccenetti Dixon, Houston, Texas, Rick (Tracy) Faccenetti, Craig, Colo.; brother, John; and sisters, Anna Mae and Mary Jane, all of Kauai, Hawaii; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lao Lipparelli and Carlo Faccenetti; many brothers and sisters,;and beloved grandson, Shane Jacobson.
The family would like to thank Hazel’s very caring friend, Darlene Pennington, the staff at Memorial Hospital in Craig, Colo. and Dr. Andrew Hughes.
Funeral service, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to service. Committal service; Mt.
