WELLINGTON – Our beloved, little mother, Mable Davis passed away peacefully in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 16, 2010 at the home of her son, surrounded by her loved ones. Mom was born Feb. 16, 1920 in Vernal, Utah to Irvin Moroni and Emily Aurilla McKee Gerber.
She is survived by her children: Gayle Wallace, Keith (Erma) Davis, Douglas (Carol) Davis, Cherilyn (Dan) Piper, Valynne (Jeff) Spencer and a much loved daughter-in-law Grace Davis; one brother, Lloyd Gerber; one sister, Elma Golding; 22 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Owen Davis; and son, Robert Davis.
She was a faithful member of the LDS church serving in many callings and leadership positions. She lived a life of service.
The world has lost yet another wonderful member of the Greatest Generation. We love you mom.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wellington Stake Center (935 E. Main – Wellington, Utah). A viewing will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South – Price, Utah) and also on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Wellington Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guestbook and share memories of Mable at www.fausettmortuary.com
