EAST CARBON- Norbert Glen Klier passed away April 15, 2010 at his home in East Carbon.
Glen was born Jan. 20, 1928 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Norbert and Bonnie Strunk Klier.
Married Bennye Hundley on Nov. 13, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nev.
He is survived by Bennye Ruth Klier, whom he married in 1966, his three children, Cathy Benzler, Port Angeles, Wash.; Tanya Miler, Portland, Ore.; Michael Klier, Orange County, Calif.; five grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Norbert Klier; his mother Bonnie Strunk Klier and his sister, Dorothy Davis.
He loved his church, East Carbon Community Church, his family and lived life to the fullest. He served in the Merchant Marines in World War II. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and rode in the Baja 500. He was a Senior Pro Bowler after retirement. He spent 30 years as a surveyor with The Los Angeles County Road Department.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
