LAS VEGAS, NEV – Cindy Lee Hyita-Romero passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with cancer on June 23, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nev., at the home of her sister, Diana. She had loved ones with her at the time of her death. Cindy was born July 13, 1958 to George J. Hyita and Joyce Collins. She grew up in East Carbon and Moab.
Cindy loved life and had the ability to make people laugh. She entertained people right up to the end.
Cindy is survived by her husband Dylan; daughter, Cheerstie (Blake) Gailey; son, Max (Roxie) Williams; stepdaughter; Jamie Dimmick; sisters, Diana (Cecil) Ralston, Debie (Joe) Oveson, Claudia (Pete) Jensen, Lisa (Wayne) Potter, Gloria (Mike) Newsom, Terilyn(Stacy) Canning, Debbie (Jim) Tice; mothers, Judi Hyita-Bishop, Charlotte (Eddie) Hatch; grandmother, Amy Sorenson; grandsons, Joshua Wisden, Nicholas, Jett and Mason Gailey; granddaughter, Naila Williams. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other loved ones and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father George Hyita; mother, Joyce Collins; sisters: Dana Jensen, Amy Hyita; brothers Roland Collard, Michael Hyita.
Memorial services to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held on July 2, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Davis Funeral home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, Nev. Online condolences at www.Davisfuneralservices.
