HUNTINGTON-David D. Avery, age 55 passed away June 26, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. He was born Sept. 19, 1954 to Donald D and Josephine Nord Avery.
For many years dad was a remarkable heavy equipment operator, he also loved to work in his garage tinkering with anything he could find. He was an amazing man, great at building anything you asked him to. It had to be perfect or he would start over. Dad also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, or just riding around in his Rhino with his dog Dutchess.
Dad also loved his second job doing dishes at the cafe. He was always there to help out his kids and taught them how to fix or build anything.
He was a very loved man and he will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to meet him.
He is survived by his children: Jeremiah Avery of Huntington, Utah, Heather Avery of Huntington, Utah, Marissa Killpack of Ferron, Utah, Chelsey Rhodes of Cleveland, Utah, and Keith Thurgood of Clearfield, Utah; nine grandchildren: Courtlyn and Terryn Avery, Jordyn and Angel Turner, Shaielyn, Kavery, Jerie, and Brodie Killpack, and Kanyen Rhodes; brothers, Gary (Carol) Avery, and Bob (Penny) Avery; and one sister, Debbie (Norman) Bostain.
Preceded in death by his parents, Donald D. and Josephine Nord Avery.
