The smoke that appeared in Castle Country on Wednesday night is apparently from a fire that is burning in south central Utah.
According to the Moab Fire Center the fire is burning near Fish Lake in Sevier/Wayne County. It is about a 1000 acre fire and south winds have
brought the smoke into the local area.
No significant fires that are out or or under control are burning in the Carbon or Emery County areas.
