EAST CARBON-Anita Louise Webb Whitlock, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in East Carbon surrounded by her loving family on Aug. 10, 2010 at the age of 80. She was born in Panguitch, Utah to Arlo and Ida Hatch Webb on Nov. 29, 1929. She was the fifth girl and seventh child of 10 children.
Louise attended schools in Panguitch, Utah. She married Garren A Whitlock on Feb.25, 1946 in Flagstaff, Ariz. Louise lived in East Carbon since 1947. She was a very talented seamstress, making clothing and bridesmaid dresses for her family and friends. She was an exceptional quilter, porcelain doll maker and made mouth-watering divinity.
She is survived by her loving husband, Garren, who she loved and adored very much; sister, Frankie Barney of Pleasant Grove; son, Rodney Whitlock of East Carbon; daughters: Sandra (Ross) Walk of East Carbon, Linda Gallup of Duchesne, Carol (Johnny) Herrera of Salt Lake City, and Cindy Whitlock also of Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Whitlock; four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price (680 E. 100 S.). A viewing was Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary and Saturday from 9:30-10:45 prior to the services at Fausett Mortuary. Interment follow ed at the Price City Cemetery.
