PRICE-Herbert Clinton Hudnall, age 74, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 in Price. He was born Aug. 7, 1936 in Cedar Grove, W.V. to Hurndin V. Perry and Ruth Martin Hudnall.
Herb married his beloved Rose Marie Keeney in Beckley, W.V. on April 6, 1962.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Herb began his banking career in the coal mining communities of West Virginia, and because of his ties and expertise as a loan officer he had the opportunity to move to Carbon County in 1965.
Over the years, Herb was blessed with many dear clients while working for US Bank and First Interstate Bank of Price. He was well respected and his word and handshake built many lasting friendships.
He was an active supporter of the Jaycee’s, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, and his community. Herb was also a member of the Elk’s where he was a long standing member, secretary, and treasurer for Price Elk’s Lodge #1550. Herb enjoyed reminiscing with friends and traveling extensively with Rose.
He loved golfing, hunting and fishing. Herb will be dearly missed by all.
Survived by his loving wife, Rose Marie Hudnall of Price; daughter, Diana Bandt, Reno, Nev.; son, Rod Hudnall, Moab; grandsons, Micheal Hudnall, Steven McCurdy, both of St. George, Robbie Hudnall, Moab; sisters, Judie (Earl) Vaughan, Garner, N.C., Joyce (Ronnie) Harris, Buffalo, W.V.; brother, Darrel Gene (Laura) Perry, Buffalo, W.V. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial service, Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, 11 a.m., Price Elk’s Lodge. Family will receive friends at the Elk’s Monday starting at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome to share memories of Herb at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
