PRICE- Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Nikki Nikas Senor, age 83, passed away peacefully Oct. 18, 2010 at Parkdale Care Center where she resided for the past seven years.
She was born Nov. 29, 1926 in Price, Utah to William and Mary Tsouvalakis Nikas.
Married Sandy C. Senor Aug. 17, 1977 in Price. He died Jan. 5, 2004.
Nikki was a lifelong resident of Carbon County where she was a dedicated employee of Koret of California. She was a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
Nikki loved singing, dancing and being the life of the party. Her greatest joy was entertaining her family and baking pies. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her brother, John B. Nikas, Salt Lake City, Utah; three children, Toni (Bob) Mermer, Clovis, Calif.; Craig (Peggy) Hobi, Farmingdale, N.Y.; Renee Hobi, San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Brett, Sean, Dawn, Craig, Jonee`, Todd, Jessica and Sam; 15 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other loving family members.
Preceded in death by her parents, William Nikas and Mary Berbis; husband, Sandy; son, Brent Hobi; five brothers: Gus, Steve, Tony, George, and Nick.
Funeral service, Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, 11 a.m. Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Trisagion service, Thursday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family was at Mitchell’s Thursday and Friday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
