Helen Lucille Rasmussen Wright was born Nov 11, 1930 in Kenilworth to Evelyn Caldwell and Oscar Rasmussen. Her brother, Norman, and sister, Elaine were there to welcome her to the family. Helen was raised in Kenilworth and Ferron and attended schools in Ferron. On Dec. 31, 1947 Helen married “the one who took her breath away”, Keith N. Wright. Together they are the parents of seven children: Loye, Ken, Maureen, Richard, Ron, Stu and Brad. They have 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Music is one of Helen’s many talents; playing piano, leading music and singing, and best of all singing with Keith. Helen was a nurse for many years and blessed lives with her love and care.
Helen has always had a love of learning, and later in life returned to college at BYU and then SUU to earn her Bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Helen has the great gift of making any place a home, and wherever she has been there has been a welcome home for her family and others as well.
Helen will celebrate her birthday with her family.
