FERRON-Kenneth D. McGill born May 26, 1972 to Walter K. McGill and Amy McGill was called home on Nov. 13, 2010, after years of battling juvenile diabetes. He will be missed by his family: sisters Gina Swasey, Michelle Thompson of Ferron and Liane Neilson of Salt Lake City, his brothers Shawn Swasey and Shayne Thompson, nieces and nephews, Trevor, Aubrey, Daniel, Bailee and Sarah, grandmothers Haydee of Texas and Mildred of Alaska and many cousins, uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Sgt. Major Raphael Chavez and Uncle Ralph Chavez.
Kenny loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping with his dad, and riding horses, especially fast ones. He loved being with his family especially his nieces and nephews. Kenny was a friend to all and had many. We will miss spending time sledding and fishing with him and his dog Ally. In lieu of flowers a donation jar will be placed at his memorial to be given in his name to the “Make a Wish Foundation.” Kenny loved kids and was always willing to help anyone. A memorial and celebration of his life will be held at the Ferron Fairgrounds building on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 1-4 p.m.
