Windy’s Wags and Wash is now open in Ferron. The dog grooming shop was formerly called Country Canine Clips and was located in Orangeville. The Emery County Business Chamber helped Windy Larsen kick-off her new business by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 19.
Larsen said, “We are located in the old laundromat building just off the hill in Ferron. The address is 170 South State Street and our phone number is 384-2884 and at home 653-2884. We are happy to be open again and back in business. My customers have been waiting for us to open so they can bring their dogs in to be groomed. We offer pet grooming and pet baths. We are going to have pet boarding later on when the kennels are ready. Eventually, we are going to open a laundromat.
“We have pet items for sale, too, including pet toys and we have some doggie sweaters. Our hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and I have an assistant that comes in that will cut dogs later in the day if needed,” said Larsen.
Larsen encourages everyone to come in and have their pets groomed. A well groomed pet is more comfortable and happy.
