PRICE-Flora Helen Duncan Kessler, age 57, passed away Dec. 2, 2010 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo after a four year battle with a heart condition.
She was born in Price, Utah on Aug. 1, 1953 to Floyd H.and Flora Meyer Duncan.
On Jan. 11, 1983, she married Lloyd O. Kessler in South Jordan, Utah.
Helen loved collecting just about anything that she thought was collectible. She enjoyed treasure hunting and her philosophy was that she never found anything that she couldn’t use. Eventually her passion turned into a full time job, so she decided to open Helen’s Things and Stuff in Price. Her greatest love in life was her grandchildren and she was always taking them on new adventures. Whether it was riding 4-wheelers in town or letting the kids drive in the mountains, no one could ever predict what her next adventure would be or where it would take them.
Helen centered her life around her family and she felt the best way to enjoy life was to share it with those she loved. She was always willing to help anyone in need and she’ll be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Kessler, Price; her children, Michelle Tappan, Price, Christi (Kareem) Hopkins, Wellington, Vance (Angie) Turner, Price, Lloyd (Dolly) Kessler, Price, Keri (Rick) Miller, Ririe, Idaho, Teri (Danny) Barney, Vernal, Mindy (Darrin) Crabtree, Helper; Robert (Melanie) Kessler, Magna, siblings, Floyd (Berlynn) Duncan, South Jordan, Chester (Paula) Duncan, Kearns, Penny (George) Cooke, Compton, Ark., Ray Duncan and Alan Stethenfen, Salt Lake City, Frank Duncan and Larry Holden, West Jordan; and her loving grandchildren.
