BILLINGS MONT./FERRON-Bob M. Peck, formerly of Salt Lake City and Ferron, Utah, passed away on Jan. 24, 2011 in Billings, Mont. He was currently a resident of Harlowton, Mont.
He was born Sept. 17,1950 to Wallace M. “Bob” and Betty Lou Naish Peck. Married Cheryl A. Yates on Nov. 29, 1980 in Elko, Nev.
Mining was in Bob’s heart and soul. He was employed by Stillwater Mining’s East Boulder Mine near Big Timber, Mont. He had previously worked for Energy West’s Trail Mountain, Cottonwood and Wilberg Mines. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He considered Ferron his home.
Bob is survived by his mother, Betty Talbot, wife, Cheryl and children, Shauna, Jason (Brittanie), Spring (Joe), Liz, Sarah, and Billy (Whittney) and 13 grandchildren, as well as sisters, Jeanne Beck, Bonnie Arnoldus and Penny Brown and brothers, Tim, Terry and Bryan.
Preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, his twin Billy and Dennis.
Per Bob’s wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
