NRCS Wildlife Conservation Programs Open House
The Natural Resources Conservation Service, in cooperation with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah will host an open house to discuss potential conservation opportunities for Farm Bill eligible landowners to improve wildlife habitat for sage grouse, mule deer, elk and other wildlife species. The meeting will be open for informal discussion. The open house will be held in the Alumni Room of the USU-CEU Student Center in Price on Tuesday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Mock car accident exercise coming April 7
Don’t be surprised on April 7 all day at the Emery High school to see helicopters, ambulances and emergency personnel as a mock car accident will be staged outside the high school. Emery County Sheriff Greg Funk wants everyone to be aware this exercise will be going on throughout the day and not to be alarmed at the activity that day surrounding the high school.
Annual Poker Ride

Learn to sew
Jody Porter will hold Sewing Days on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Free of charge. You can learn to sew, or work on any project you desire. Bring materials and sewing machine. Health Career Exploration Camp
High School students interested in a future health care career are invited to participate in the annual Health Career Exploration Camp at Southern Utah University. The camp will take place June 20 – 22 and is open to all 10th – 12th grade high school students who have a minimum 3.0 GPA (students who have finished their 9th grade year prior to camp are eligible to attend).
The camp is designed to teach students about health care careers in a hands-on learning environment with health care professionals. Participants will participate
Cleveland Spring expo
Cleveland Town will be hosting a Spring Expo at the Cleveland Fire Station 130 W. Main in Cleveland, on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. As part of the expo there will be a “Cleveland’s Own” crafters booth available for Cleveland residents interested in selling unique handcrafted items. Dancers, playing instruments, singing and all other talents for half hour slots.
Cleveland spring expo
The Cleveland Spring Expo will be held on Sat. April 30, 2011 at the Cleveland Fire Station, 130 W Main, Cleveland. The Expo will include vendors, crafts, raffle, entertainment, food and lots more and will run from 10am to 7pm. No admission charge. Everyone is invited to attend.
