PRICE-Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend, James Lee “Jackie” Ceal, age 58 passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Price.
He was born June 9, 1952 in Spring Canyon, Utah to George Henry and Dora May Gragg Ceal.
On June 7, 1974, he married Rosetta Hensley in Helper, Utah.
The old man loved to visit family and friends, and he especially enjoyed reminiscing with everyone over a cup of coffee. “Jackie” was an instant friend to all and he loved to spoil his grandkids. He loved to flirt, but was always faithful to his loving wife. He was a longtime resident of Carbon County where he drove truck for Uintah Freight. “Jackie” honorably served his country in the US Marine Corp. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rosetta Ceal; three daughters and five sons, Jared (Lisa) Korenko, California; Daniel Ceal, Price; Jeannie (Nestor) Montoya, Price; James S. Jr. (Carla) Ceal, Price; Michael Ceal, LaPoint; Amy (Chris) Gilbert, Price; Crystal (Anthony) Montoya, Price; David E. Ceal, Pleasant Grove; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Lenora (James) Pendleton, Patsy Jean Pilling; and brother, David W. Ceal, all of Price.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Samuel “Sammy” Ceal.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff at Rocky Mountain Hospice.
Funeral service, Thursday, April 14, 2011, 11 a.m., Grace Baptist Church of Castle Country, 295 South Highway 55, Price. Family will be at the church Thursday morning at 9 a.m. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery.
