Our loving sister, aunt and beloved niece, Vicki Lynn Brunnert, age 55, passed away on July 4, 2011 in Price, Utah due to kidney failure. She was born Jan. 23, 1956 in Topeka, Kan. to Charles Gene and Imogene Lenore Schlichter Brunnert.
For the past seven years Vicki lived at Mesa Vista a care facility for the disabled in Orem, Utah. She loved children, animals, and spending time with her family and friends. Vicki was always ready to go out for fun especially if it involved buying a new purse.
She is survived by her uncle, Don Brunnert, Topeka Kan.; brother, Chuck (Patti) Brunnert, and their children Amanda and Kevin Brunnert, all of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Toni (Scott) Behling, Sunnyside, Utah, and their children, LaRae Bowker, Salt Lake City, Carmen (Josh) Humphrey, Orangeville, Utah, Greg Bowker (Toree), Columbia, Utah, Mitch (Kassandra) Behling, Price, Utah; Kyle Behling (Brittni) of Helper, Utah; also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents, Charles and Eunice Brunnert, Duane and Roberta Schlichter.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the administration and staff at Mesa Vista for providing a home environment where Vicki’s personality could blossom. Also a special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice and Pinnacle Care Center for the care they gave this last week.
Funeral service, Thursday, July 7, 2011, 12 noon, East Carbon Community Church. Friends were welcomed to gather at the church Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
