CASTLE DALE – Linda Wilson Potter, age 54, passed away suddenly Aug. 6, 2011 as a result of a tragic accident. Linda was born Sept. 26, 1956 in Price, Utah to Dick and Doris Wilson. She had married and later divorced.
Linda was raised in Huntington and attended Emery High School. She spent most of her life in Huntington and Emery County. She worked as a security guard at the Power Plant in her younger years and most recently, she was working as a flagger, for Nielson Construction.
Linda loved family gatherings, and whether she was in the mountains, deserts, fishing, or gardening, she loved the outdoors. She enjoyed crafts, making jewelry, traveling, children and dogs. She had a great sense of humor, and was someone that you could always depend on. She will be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Linda is survived by her mother, Doris Wilson of Huntington, brother, John (Gloria) Wilson of Huntington, sisters, Janet (Bill) Minchey of Beaver and Sherri (Phillip) Heaps of Huntington, sister-in-law, Cynetta Wilson of New Mexico, several nieces and nephews, and her dog, Pyle. She was preceded in death by her father, Dick Wilson and brother, Danny Wilson.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Huntington City Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale, 720 North Center St., and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Huntington LDS Stake Center, 240 North Main, prior to the Graveside Service.
