Cowboy Poetry Night
The Emery County Historical Society and Castle Valley Outdoors invites you to join us for our annual Cowboy Poetry Night. We are honored to have as our special guest, the notoriously funny and talented cowgirl poet, Sam DeLeeuw. Music will be by The Firehouse Five Dutch oven cobbler and ice cream will be served. Mark your calendar Aug. 25, 6:30 p.m. Please bring a folding chair and a coat. To arrive at Castle Valley Outdoors, travel south from Ferron, mile post #25, on Hwy 10. Proceed south past the Moore exit, over the new Muddy Creek Bridge. Turn left on the next road at the gate with the sign “Castle Valley Outdoors.” To arrive from Emery, travel north on Hwy 10 for appox. 2.5 miles until you come to the gate with the sign “Castle Valley Outdoors”. Please do not leave the gate open. Travel one mile east to a parking lot and you are there.
Sam DeLeeuw’s CDs will be for sale during the evening. Annual dues are still only $5/person.
